Divine Public Relations is a public relations firm founded by Alicia Alaniz. Alicia started her broadcast career at KPRC-TV in 1989 while attending Houston Baptist University. For nearly 15 years, she worked in television and radio before making the transition into public relations at 89.3 KSBJ in 2002. Her life experiences and passion for people created a desire to help promote the Gospel and make a difference in the lives of others. During her four-year tenure at KSBJ, the God listens radio station became an established entity at some of Houston's biggest events, including the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo and parade, the Children's Festival, the International Festival, the Houston Marathon and the Fiestas Patrias parade. Alicia has also represented organizations such as KSBJ, the YMCA of Greater Houston and Neighborhood Centers Inc. She is a voiceover talent and speaker at schools, churches, conferences and forums, including the Houston Hispanic Forum's Career Day. A member of PRSA and HAHJ,  Alicia is a recognized journalist and has won several awards, and was a Texas Business Woman of the Year finalist in 1996. However, her greatest accomplishments are her daughter, Kristiana, and her marriage to her husband, Gerardo. Oh, yes-and dog Pluto.
